Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use and share Personal Information gathered through www.kimkimblehair.com (hereinafter the “Site”) on behalf of The Kim Kimble Hair Collection by HAIRUWEAR and their affiliates (hereinafter collectively referred to as “we” “us” “Kim Kimble Hair Collection by HairUWear” or the “Company”).

This Privacy Policy, along with our Terms of Use, governs your use of the Site.  If you do not agree to this Policy or the Terms of Use, please do not use our Site.

In this Policy, we refer to “Personal Information,” which is data about an individual who can be identified from that data, or by combining it with other data. Personal Information is usually your name in combination with another identifier, such as date of birth, postal address, email address, telephone number, or government-issued identification number. Personal Information does not include anonymous or aggregated data that can no longer be used to identify a specific person, even if combined with other data. The specific definition of Personal Information varies from one jurisdiction to another.

The Information We Collect

Information You Provide

Our Site’s information form allows you to voluntarily give us certain Personal Information (such as your name, company/organization, address, phone number, and e-mail address). Our Site also gives you the opportunity to request information from us on a variety of subjects, to identify the type of company for which you work, to advise us about how you learned about our company and this Site, and to provide us with any similar information or comments you may have.

Information We Automatically Collect

Site Usage Information: We also may automatically collect and use information from you when you visit our Site, such as your IP address, the type of browser you are using, the type of operating system you are using, length of visits to pages, other browser interaction information, and the domain name of your Internet service provider. The amount of information sent by your web browser depends on its settings, and you should refer to your web browser to learn what information it discloses about you.

Cookies: We may actively obtain information about you by installing a marker on your computer commonly called a “cookie.” Cookies enable us to know you by a computer-generated, unique identifier. By providing you with a unique cookie, our Site is able to remember your previous choices, and when such a choice is to be made again, the Site can supply your choice automatically, saving you time and effort. Your web browser may be specifically configured to reject cookies, and you should refer to your web browser to learn how it treats cookies.  You can set your browser to reject cookies, but some features and services on our Site may not work properly.

To learn more about the use of Cookies by Google for analytics and to exercise choice regarding those Cookies, please visit the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on or the Digital Advertising Alliance.

There are “do not track” or similar browser choices available to internet users with respect to online web activity but given the present lack of consensus of what constitutes an informed election, appropriate trigger or breadth of scope of such choice, our Site will not operate any differently when a “do not track” signal is received.

Mobile Apps

Some of our mobile apps include opt-in, geo-location services that provide location-based services, such as store locators, local weather, promotional offers and other personalized content. Some of our mobile apps include opt-in “push notifications.” Most mobile devices allow you to turn off location services or push notifications. Our mobile apps will not collect information regarding your location or update you with push notifications unless you provide your consent.

How We Use the Information

We use the information you provide about yourself and your company to fulfill your requests for our products, programs, and services; to respond to your inquiries about our offerings; and to offer you other products, programs, or services that we believe may be of interest to you. The Site may sometimes include sweepstakes or other promotions that we are offering or are offering jointly with another company, and we may allow you to enter electronically in some cases. If that occurs, we will use the information you provide for the purpose of conducting the promotion (for example, to contact you if you have won, to prepare winners lists, to publicize winners of the promotion, etc.) and with your consent, to offer you products and services of ours and our joint sweepstakes sponsors. We may also use this information to communicate with you via e-mail. In addition, we may on occasion combine information we receive from you online with outside records to enhance our ability to market to you those products and services, which may be of interest to you.

We sometimes may use the information we collect to improve the design and content of the Site and to enable us to personalize your Internet experience. We also may use this information in the aggregate to analyze Site usage. In addition, we may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, to administer the Site, to help identify you when visiting the Site and to gather broad demographic information.

We share Personal Information with our employees on a need-to-know basis and with service providers who support our Site and the products and services we provide.  We require such service providers to protect the Personal Information, use it only for the purposes it is provided and not share it.

We may share the Personal Information we collect with our affiliates or third parties, including contractors, dealers, distributors and retailers.

All of our marketing email messages give you the option to “opt-out” of receiving promotions, updates, special offers, newsletters, surveys, information and other messages from us. You may also elect not to receive communications from us by submitting your request that we remove your email address, name and geographical address from our mailing lists to:
